I got this idea from Chunky, which is a pretty neat renderer that can load and render chunks directly from your Minecraft worlds.
This scene was modeled in SketchUp and rendered in Kerkythea with the Metropolis Light Transport method. Render time was 18 hours, 27 minutes and 38 seconds.
I know. Well the sheep and diamond are the hardest to model (unless you downloaded a premade SketchUp model), and... I personally woulda spawned two sheep in Minecraft, built the scene, and jMC2Obj instead (with rendering Entities checked). Something like that. Good modelling skills, I have to say! Nice realistic render! I also love how creatively you incorporated the Cornell Box into Minecraft.
I've never gotten mobs to export with jMC2Obj, only a few minecarts and paintings, which had the stone texture and did not look right at all. The sheep and diamond were indeed made inside SketchUp by me. Oh and it wasn't entirely my idea, I just saw this and wanted to make my own.
