hey would you tell me WHERE i need to put the extended texture couse it wont let me put it without a rectangle but it didnt fit in the sword traze that I made HOW or WHERE do I need to put the extended texture, also how can I light up an block entirely, like glowstone in Kerkythea

The 'extended' texture should usually have the same dimensions as the normal texture. In case it touches the edges like the sword texture, you need to think about how it repeats and "bleeds" through the sides.
You can just replace the first sword texture with the 'extended' one, and you do this as if you were applying it normally.
To light up a block in Kerkythea, you need to set its texture as self-emitting by copying the texture into the "Radiance" slot. If you want it to actually act as a lamp (and quadruple render times with some render methods), you need to keep "emitter" checked, if you just want it to look bright, keep "emitter" unchecked.
