And he brings his pets along for the journey! It doesn't go quite as planned...
Omg, a comic! This took quite some time, it's like 14 mini-artworks all at once A lot of the modeling time was spent to make the ripples in the water, and SketchUp's not the best suited program for that... Sorry if the panel layout is wonky, I just made it up as I went along :L HD rendered panels: Some textures from Minecraft - trademark of Mojang AB Programs used: JMC2OBJ for terrain porting, SketchUp for modeling, Kerkythea for rendering and Paint.NET for image and texture editing. Render times: lol nope Modeling time: too long
It's really inspiring to see how much you care for your creations. How much or what you would go through to make it happen. ^w^ Awesomesauce. :3 Have you thought about doing 3-D Minecraft animations? Or do you already do that? XD Because I bet you would be phenomenal.
I do make teeny tiny animations in Blender, but I haven't tried making any full scale animations, both because lack of skill and ideas for an animation (there's little point in animating just for the sake of animating). I would have to get the right software and knowledge to add sounds to the animation, and so far I haven't bothered to try
Because the software I use are in no way capable of making proper animations. And I also prefer still pictures and comics rather than rushing to make keyframes and render hundreds of frames and have to add decent sounds and voicing. It's simpler and easier with still pictures, and I get more done this way
